Chris founded Startups Greater Asia (SGA), a cross-border strategic consulting firm and business intelligence hub that helps scale-ups and corporations with corporate innovation and market expansion. SGA’s mission is to connect the Silicon Valley and Greater Asia tech community with Knowledge, Connections and Resources. Chris is also a corporate attorney at Carr & Ferrell LLP and previously General Counsel at a hardware/transportation startup in SF where she advises mergers & acquisitions, venture capital financings, business formation, and has negotiated and drafted a wide variety of commercial and technology agreements.
Combining her business and legal experience working with emerging growth technologies, Chris advises founders, investors and established corporations looking to conduct cross-border business more successfully. Chris is fluent in Mandarin Chinese and English, and often speaks/writes about corporate growth, emerging technologies, the cross-border tech landscape. Chris received a J.D. from the University of Washington, and both a B.A. in Economics and a B.A. in Russian from Georgetown University. Chris is a licensed California state attorney.
